The Italian powerhouse delivered a stellar performance against Egypt's Zamalek Sporting Club, securing victories with scores of 25-9, 25-13, and 25-18. Star player Paola Egonu, celebrating her 26th birthday, made a significant impact in the first set, contributing five points before resting for the remainder of the match.

French outside hitter Helena Cazaute was a standout for Milano in the second set, delivering an unstoppable kill and two aces, amassing 13 points to help clinch the set 25-13. The momentum continued into the third set, where opposite Radostina Marinova sealed the victory with a decisive hammer, finalizing the match at 25-18.

With this performance, Milano currently holds second place in Pool A, guaranteeing their spot in the semifinals and setting the stage for an exciting progression in the tournament.
