Tragic Shelling in Russia’s Kursk Region Claims Four Lives

In a heartbreaking incident, four individuals lost their lives and five others sustained injuries in the town of Lgov, located in Russia's Kursk region. The attacks were reported to have been carried out by Ukrainian shelling, according to the region's acting governor, Alexander Khinshtein.

Khinshtein detailed the extent of the damage on Telegram, stating, \"A five-story residential building, two single-story residential buildings, and a single-story beauty salon were seriously damaged.\" The destructive blast wave not only shattered windows in nearby private residences but also caused damage to at least 12 cars. Additionally, a small section of a gas pipeline was destroyed, exacerbating the severity of the situation.

The governor emphasized the widespread impact of the shelling, highlighting the destruction of both residential and commercial properties. As of now, there has been no response from Ukrainian officials regarding the attack.

The incident underscores the ongoing tensions and the devastating effects of the conflict on civilian areas. Authorities are likely to investigate the event further to determine the full scope of the damage and the circumstances leading up to the attack.
