More than 31,000 people across Canada are under evacuation orders as firefighters battle a wave of raging wildfires, authorities said.
Over 200 fires are burning nationwide, and half are described as out of control. So far, the blazes have scorched more than 22,000 square kilometers, threatening towns and villages in their path.
Fire crews are working around the clock to contain the flames and protect communities. Authorities warn that evacuations could expand as efforts to tame the blazes continue.
