In a vibrant display of tradition and excitement, the Suolangge Racecourse in Zhangye City, Gansu Province, hosted a grand horse racing event to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Sunan Yugur Autonomous County. The event featured riders from 21 ethnic groups within the county, as well as representative teams from surrounding provinces and cities.
With over 1,000 riders donned in festive ethnic costumes, the racecourse came alive with 486 horses and 72 camels sprinting along the track. Competitions included thrilling horse races and camel races, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and athletic prowess of the participants.
