China showcased their prowess with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, and 25-18. Standout players Yuan Xinyue and Li Yingying each contributed 13 points, while Zhu Ting added 12 points, including a crucial spike in the first set that set the tone for China’s commanding performance. Wang Yuanyuan also made significant contributions with 10 points.
After the match, head coach Cai Bin expressed confidence in the team's Olympic qualification and emphasized the importance of continued improvement. \"We will spare no efforts at the Paris Olympics in every match to display the best spirit of the Chinese women's national team,\" Cai stated.
Coach Cai praised Zhu Ting's experience and impact on the game, highlighting her ability to control the match's pace. \"Zhu is a very experienced player and her control of the pace in the match was significant,\" he added.
Teammate Gong Xiangyu shared her excitement about returning to the Olympics, saying, \"We are so glad to return to the Olympics. But we will continue to focus on preparing for the next two VNL matches and give our best in them.\"
