Celtics Dominate Pacers to Secure 3-0 Lead in Eastern Conference Finals

Boston Celtics have extended their lead in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals by defeating the Indiana Pacers 114-111 in Game 3, held at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Saturday.

The Pacers faced a significant challenge without their regular-season assists leader, Tyrese Haliburton, who was sidelined due to a hamstring injury. Nevertheless, Indiana showcased impressive offensive prowess, shooting 64.6% from the field in the first half and at one point leading by 18 points (84-66) in the third quarter.

Sophomore guard Andrew Nembhard emerged as a standout performer for the Pacers, scoring 32 points and recording nine assists—both team and postseason career highs. Nembhard made 12 of his 21 field goals, including four three-pointers out of seven attempts. In the closing seconds, with the Pacers trailing by one point (112-111) and less than 10 seconds remaining, Nembhard had an opportunity to secure the win. However, he turned the ball over to Jrue Holiday, preventing Indiana from leveling the series.

Boston's consistent performance and strategic plays ultimately led them to victory, tightening their grip on the series at 3-0.
