China and Egypt to Elevate Strategic Partnership to New Heights

China is set to take its comprehensive strategic partnership with Egypt to the next level, according to Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Speaking on Friday during talks with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty at the UN General Assembly in New York, Wang emphasized China's commitment to deepening bilateral ties.

Minister Wang, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, highlighted China's readiness to collaborate with Egypt in implementing the consensus reached by their presidents. He reiterated the strong tradition of mutual support and the pursuit of win-win cooperation across various sectors.

Wang also pointed out China's intention to work closely with Egypt within multilateral frameworks such as the United Nations, BRICS, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. This collaboration aims to safeguard the interests of developing countries and build a community with a shared future.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty echoed China's sentiments, expressing Egypt's willingness to implement the bilateral consensus and enhance cooperation in multiple fields. Abdelatty also welcomed the continuous participation of Chinese enterprises in Egypt's modernization efforts, signaling a robust future for Sino-Egyptian relations.
