China's senior diplomat Wang Yi is set to meet with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Laos, according to a statement by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning on Friday.
The two officials will \"exchange views on issues of common concern,\" Mao stated during a regular press briefing.
Both Wang Yi and Blinken are in Laos for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) talks, where they will engage in discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and addressing regional challenges.
