President Xi to Lead 10th China-Arab Cooperation Forum in Beijing

Chinese President Xi Jinping is set to play a pivotal role at the upcoming 10th ministerial meeting of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum. Scheduled for May 30 in Beijing, the forum aims to strengthen ties between China and Arab nations, fostering collaboration across various sectors.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying announced that President Xi will deliver a keynote speech at the opening ceremony. This marks a significant step in enhancing diplomatic and economic relationships within the region.

Co-chairing the meeting will be Wang Yi, a prominent member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the Chinese foreign minister, alongside Mohamed Salem Ould Merzouk, Mauritania's minister of foreign affairs, cooperation and Mauritanians abroad. Their leadership underscores the forum's commitment to deepening mutual cooperation.

Delegates from foreign ministries and representatives of Arab states, along with the secretary general of the Arab League, will attend the meeting. The gathering is expected to address key areas such as trade, investment, technology exchange, and cultural partnerships, aiming to create a robust framework for future collaborations.

This forum highlights China's ongoing efforts to build and sustain strong alliances with Arab countries, contributing to global economic growth and stability. The engagement underscores a shared vision for prosperity and the importance of international cooperation in an interconnected world.
