The communique emphasizes the continuation of development cooperation, with the Chinese mainland pledging support to Suriname's economic growth and the improvement of its citizens' livelihoods. This support will be facilitated through both bilateral and multilateral channels, ensuring that Suriname receives the necessary assistance for development financing.
Furthermore, the two sides have agreed to intensify collaboration in various key sectors, including the digital economy, green development, blue economy, energy minerals, infrastructure, energy, agriculture, finance, science and technology, education, culture, sports, and poverty alleviation. These efforts aim to drive mutual development and progress, benefiting both nations in the long term.
