An emergency response team has been dispatched to the northern Enga province of Papua New Guinea following a catastrophic landslide that struck early Friday morning.
Enga provincial administrator Sandis Tsaka informed Loop PNG that the team has arrived at the Mulitaka site in Porgera-Paiela district to evaluate the extent of the damage.
Tsaka extended heartfelt condolences to the residents and families across six affected villages in Mulitaka, emphasizing the community's resilience amidst the tragedy.
