Beijing Central Axis Achieves UNESCO World Heritage Status

On August 7, 2022, China's National Administration of Cultural Heritage announced the intention to apply for UNESCO World Heritage status, and during the 46th session of the World Heritage Committee in New Delhi, India, the Beijing Central Axis was officially included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
