Southern China's city of Guangzhou is once again welcoming buyers and exhibitors from around the world for the 134th edition of the China Import and Export Fair. Commonly referred to as the Canton Fair, the trade gathering is held twice a year and is often seen as a barometer of China's foreign trade growth. According to organizers, buyers from more than 215 countries have already registered for the event, with an increase in participants from both the U.S. and Europe. The event has three phases, and over the years has seen an uptick in high-end products, new energy solutions and a focus on environmental protection and sustainability.
