Local perspectives were sought to gauge the summit’s significance and future prospects. Olzhas, a university student in Astana, highlighted the SCO's substantial influence, stating, \"The SCO has a profound impact on our economy, the entire Asian region, and even the global economy.\"
Muhammad, an expert in international relations, echoed similar sentiments from an economic standpoint. He noted, \"The SCO has consistently contributed positively to economic growth, with the increasing trade volume aiding the development of various member countries.\" Muhammad further emphasized the benefits for Central Asian nations, particularly Kazakhstan, mentioning the introduction of visa-free travel to China facilitated by the SCO. He added, \"Many people aim to travel to China and leverage opportunities to conduct business, fostering stronger economic ties.\"
