From July 29 to August 1, Laishui County in north China's Hebei Province experienced unprecedented heavy rainfall. The surge in water levels of rivers like the Juma, Yishui, and Xiaoxi Rivers led to severe flooding, particularly impacting the mountainous regions.
Amber, an American vlogger residing in China for nearly eight years, along with her husband, traveled to Laishui County to assess the situation and offer assistance. Despite challenges such as power outages, water shortages, and disrupted internet services, Amber was deeply touched by the swift response she witnessed.
