An online open day event was held by China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) on December 16 at the Chaglla hydroelectric power plant in Peru. Located over the Huallaga River in the Huanuco region, approximately 415 kilometers from the capital Lima, Chaglla stands as Peru's third-largest hydropower project.
With a total installed capacity of 456,000 kilowatts, the plant has been operational since September 2016. Chaglla generates over 2.51 billion kWh of clean power annually, significantly contributing to Peru's economic and social development by providing high-quality renewable energy.
