CPC Leadership Prioritizes Strengthening Party Discipline

The Communist Party of China (CPC) leadership held a significant meeting focused on reinforcing Party discipline, emphasizing the role of senior leaders in exemplifying and adhering to Party rules.

General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered a pivotal speech during the Political Bureau's criticism and self-criticism session, which took place from Thursday to Friday. The meeting aimed to consolidate and deepen the outcomes of the recent Party-wide discipline education campaign conducted from April to July.

Attendees engaged in constructive criticism and self-criticism, addressing crucial topics such as upholding the authority of the Party Central Committee, ensuring centralized and unified leadership, serving the people diligently, implementing the Central Committee's decisions and plans, studying Party discipline rigorously, and maintaining strict self-supervision and governance within the Party.

Xi Jinping praised the success of the meeting, highlighting its role in strengthening unity and enhancing the Political Bureau's effectiveness. He also commended the discipline education campaign for its substantial achievements, noting a marked improvement in Party members' and officials' awareness of discipline, integrity, self-discipline, and a strengthened sense of responsibility.
