Chinese Vice President Han Zheng welcomed a French delegation to Beijing on Wednesday for the sixth China-France Track Two High-Level Dialogue.
Celebrating the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations, Han emphasized the strategic importance of China-France ties that extend beyond bilateral interests.
\"We are ready to implement the important consensus reached by our heads of state, deepen mutual trust and cooperation, and jointly tackle global challenges like climate change,\" Han stated.
He added that China looks forward to achieving new milestones in the comprehensive strategic partnership with France.
Carole Bureau-Bonnard, chairperson of the French delegation, echoed the commitment to enhancing mutual understanding and complementing each other's strengths.
\"The French side is prepared to engage in constructive dialogue to promote steady development of France-China and EU-China relations,\" Bureau-Bonnard remarked.
