Haishao-1: The Chinese Mainland’s New Remote-Sensing Satellite Enters Orbit

On Wednesday, the Chinese mainland successfully launched their latest remote-sensing satellite, Haishao-1, from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center located in Sichuan Province.

The launch took place at 12:46 p.m. using a Kuaizhou-1A carrier rocket, marking the 28th mission for this type of rocket. Equipped with advanced synthetic aperture radar technology, Haishao-1 has already reached its designated orbit.

This deployment enhances the Chinese mainland's capabilities in earth observation and remote sensing, supporting various applications from environmental monitoring to disaster management.
