Global Video Media Forum Launches in Quanzhou to Boost Cultural Exchange and AI Innovation

The 12th Global Video Media Forum officially commenced on Tuesday in Quanzhou City, located in the southeastern region of the Chinese mainland's Fujian Province.

The event attracted nearly 200 representatives from 87 media organizations spanning over 60 countries and regions. Participants engaged in meaningful discussions about the pivotal role of video media in fostering cultural exchanges and the burgeoning applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in video production.

Shen Haixiong, president of China Media Group (CMG), delivered a compelling speech during the opening ceremony. He highlighted the essential function of media in bridging different cultures and peoples, as well as in documenting stories of global exchange. Shen emphasized that the integration of AI in video media not only enhances production quality but also opens new avenues for creative expression and cross-cultural communication.

The forum serves as a significant platform for media professionals to share insights, collaborate on innovative projects, and explore the future landscape of video media in an increasingly digital and interconnected world.
