China Stresses Resolve Amid U.S. Trade Escalations

Responding to escalating economic and trade measures, China’s Ministry of Commerce declared its readiness to counter any further restrictive actions by the United States. An official underscored that while no nation wins in a trade war, the Chinese government is fully prepared to defend the legitimate rights of its people.

During a press briefing following the release of a white paper by the State Council Information Office, the spokesperson stated, "I want to emphasize that there is no winner in a trade war, and China does not want a trade war, but the Chinese government will by no means sit by when the legitimate rights of its people are being hurt and deprived."

The white paper outlines China’s stance on bilateral economic and trade relations, urging the United States to remove its unilateral tariffs and engage in open dialogue. By emphasizing that each nation’s economic success presents an opportunity for collaboration rather than a threat, the official called for managing differences through equal consultations.

For young global citizens, business innovators, and changemakers, this approach signals a balanced strategy: one that combines robust countermeasures with a commitment to dialogue and sustainable growth in an increasingly interconnected world.
