Leading the charge, \"Ne Zha 2\" made history as the first film of 2025 to exceed the 1 billion yuan mark, achieving this milestone in record time. Following closely, \"Detective Chinatown 1900\" amassed an impressive 1.32 billion yuan, while \"Creation of the Gods II\" garnered 767 million yuan in revenue.
IMAX China played a significant role in this surge, setting a new first-day earnings record with 88 million yuan, surpassing its previous record from 2021. The 2025 Spring Festival also witnessed a massive turnout, with 1.2 million attendees on opening day—the highest ever recorded for this holiday season.
