McDonald’s Expands in Chinese Mainland with 1,000 New Locations

Despite the challenges posed by the post-COVID landscape, McDonald's is betting big on the Chinese mainland. CEO Phyllis Cheung revealed that the company's global management identifies immense growth opportunities in the region.

Key drivers for this expansion include increased sales, a resilient local supply chain, favorable policies, and a strong culture of innovation. These factors have enabled McDonald's to successfully launch around 1,000 new outlets in the Chinese mainland alone, representing over half of its global store openings.

\"Our continued investment in China underscores our confidence in the market's potential and our commitment to delivering quality and innovation to our customers,\" said Cheung.
