The Beijing press center for the 80th anniversary commemorations of victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War held its first press conference on Thursday.
Senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Beijing municipal government and the People's Liberation Army shared updates on event preparations and answered questions from journalists, according to a notice from the center.
