On the final day of the ISSF World Cup in Lima, China's Sun Yujie delivered a clutch performance to secure the top spot in the women's 25m pistol final.
This win marks Sun's second consecutive gold medal of the year and adds to an impressive haul for China, which finished the competition with 4 gold, 3 silver, and 6 bronze medals.
In a showdown against India, Sun and teammate Yao Qianxun both hit 11 out of 15 targets to stay at the top of the leaderboard, while Zu Pengwen exited early after an eighth-place finish in the knockout rounds.
The final came down to a single shot as Sun edged out India's Simranpreet Kaur Brar. Yao secured a podium spot just ahead of Brar, while Manu Bhaker narrowly missed her chance after four consecutive misses in the last stage.
With momentum on their side, the Chinese team now sets its sights on the next World Cup stop in Munich this June.
