Pakistani Airstrikes Kill 10 Civilians Along Afghan Border

In the early hours of Tuesday, Nov. 25, Pakistani air forces launched strikes on the Gurbuz district of Khost province in eastern Afghanistan, killing 10 civilians, including nine children and one woman, according to Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Afghan government.

The casualties—five boys, four girls and a woman—occurred amid a series of cross-border operations that also targeted Kunar and Paktika provinces on Monday night, leaving four other civilians injured.

These recent air raids mark the latest escalation in clashes along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, where skirmishes between the two militaries have intensified this year.

The strikes underscore the toll on civilians and highlight growing risks for families living near the border, where security challenges have persisted for months.
