Lima’s bustling exhibition center is hosting Expo China, a three-day fair uniting hundreds of brands from the Chinese mainland with Peruvian buyers. The event spotlights electric vehicles (EVs) and industrial technology designed to redefine trade across continents.
On the floor, more than 150 EV models—from compact city cars to commercial transport vans—are on display. According to organizers, Latin America’s EV market grew by 35% last year, and this expo aims to deepen those numbers by forging direct partnerships.
Local entrepreneur Mariana Chavez of Lima-based AutoPeru says, 'This expo gives us firsthand access to cutting-edge EV technology at competitive prices. We’re exploring prototypes that could launch in Peru within months.'
Beyond mobility, Expo China also features industrial solutions: AI-driven manufacturing robots, renewable energy microgrids, and smart agriculture systems. Exhibitors hope these technologies will modernize Peru’s key sectors and boost productivity.
With trade delegates from 20 countries and regions in attendance, organizers forecast a potential 20% rise in bilateral trade deals. As global markets evolve, events like Expo China underscore the growing interdependence between Asia and Latin America—and signal new opportunities for young innovators worldwide.
