CMG & NYFA Launch ‘Bright Future of Humanity’ AI Call in LA

Hollywood buzzed with anticipation on Friday as China Media Group (CMG), in partnership with the New York Film Academy (NYFA), officially launched the "Bright Future of Humanity" global AI visual works call-for-submissions. Held at the heart of Los Angeles' entertainment scene, the ceremony gathered filmmakers, tech innovators and storytellers from around the world.

In a message delivered to the audience, CMG President Shen Haixiong outlined the event’s mission: to move beyond algorithms and codes, and to tap into the shared emotions that connect humans and AI. "We envision a future where advanced technology coexists in harmony with humanity," Shen remarked, setting an inspiring tone for contributors.

More than an art competition, this initiative aims to spark a global conversation. By inviting creators to imagine stories of empathy, collaboration and responsible innovation, CMG and NYFA hope to bridge cultural divides and fuel partnerships across continents.

"Video serves as our universal language, and AI is the bridge," Shen added. He emphasized CMG’s commitment as a world-class media group based in the Chinese mainland to champion ethical AI development, close the digital divide and ensure emerging tools serve people’s well-being.

As submissions open, participants from G20 nations and beyond are encouraged to explore themes such as sustainable futures, cross-cultural dialogue and human-centered design. Winners will have their works showcased on global platforms, highlighting how art and technology can drive positive change.

For digital nomads dreaming of the cutting edge, tech enthusiasts studying AI ethics, or young global citizens hungry for the next big story, the "Bright Future of Humanity" call-for-submissions offers a chance to shape tomorrow's narrative.
