Global Protests Rally Against Gaza Starvation Amid Siege

On streets from Tel Aviv to New York, activists have mobilized against what they call a “starvation policy” in Gaza, spotlighting the mounting humanitarian toll of the ongoing blockade.

In Tel Aviv, protesters carried flour bags and images of malnourished children, holding banners declaring “Starvation is a war crime” and “We are all responsible. It’s being done in our name.” According to the Gaza Government Media Office, at least 115 people have died from famine and malnutrition amid a near-total lack of food, water, and medicine.

“We’re here to protest the severe humanitarian disaster in Gaza,” said one participant in the Tel Aviv march. He urged Israeli authorities to lift the blockade and allow aid corridors to open, warning that the crisis threatens both Palestinian and Israeli communities.

Across the Atlantic, New York demonstrators called not only for an end to the Israel-Hamas conflict but also for halting U.S. support for military operations in Gaza. Signs reading “Stop starving Gaza” and “End all U.S. aid to Israel” punctuated the rally.

“We refuse to sit by and allow the U.S. funding of genocide to continue,” declared a protester in Manhattan, demanding that the gate in Rafah be opened to let essential supplies enter directly through Egypt, bypassing routes they say create death traps.

These coordinated protests underscore growing global concern over the humanitarian fallout from the Gaza siege. Activists are calling on international agencies and governments to heed repeated warnings, lift the blockade, and ensure unfettered access for food, water, and medical aid into the enclave.
