Trump Calls for Tehran Evacuation as Israel-Iran Strikes Enter Day 5

On the fifth straight day of strikes between Israel and Iran, U.S. President Donald Trump has taken a dramatic step, urging residents of Tehran to evacuate as tensions soar over nuclear weapons concerns.

"Iran should have signed the 'deal' I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life. Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!" Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.

Trump's warning came as he cut short his visit to the G7 summit in Canada by a day, according to the White House, to address the Middle East situation. He is expected to convene his National Security Council upon his return.

French President Emmanuel Macron welcomed the move, noting that the U.S.-backed ceasefire proposal – aimed at halting the hostilities – needs buy-in from all parties. "There is an offer that has been made, especially to have a ceasefire and to initiate broader discussions. And I think this is a very good thing," Macron told reporters. "So now we need to see what the stakeholders will do."

As regional tensions escalate into their fifth day, global leaders are adjusting summit agendas and redrawing diplomatic strategies, highlighting how local conflicts ripple through international forums.
