A South Korean navy patrol plane went down in the hills of Pohang on Thursday at 1:50 p.m. local time (04:50 GMT), Yonhap News Agency reported.
Authorities said four people were on board when the aircraft crashed in the mountainous area along the city's east coast. An official from the Pohang city government confirmed the timing of the incident.
