On Thursday in Phnom Penh, a China-Cambodia cultural exchange event brought together media leaders, cultural experts and government representatives in tandem with Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit to the country.
The event was co-hosted by China Media Group (CMG) alongside Cambodia's Ministry of Information, Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, and Ministry of Tourism, in partnership with the Royal Academy of Cambodia.
Cambodian People's Party President and Senate President Samdech Techo Hun Sen sent a congratulatory letter, underscoring the initiative's role in strengthening mutual understanding and cultural ties.
Organizers highlighted the event as a platform for deepening cooperation in media, arts and tourism, while analysts note that such cultural diplomacy efforts are vital to fostering people-to-people connections and broader regional collaboration.
