Zelenskyy Calls US Envoy Meeting ‘Productive’

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that his recent meeting with Keith Kellogg, the U.S. special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, in Kyiv was highly productive.

During their discussion, Zelenskyy and Kellogg delved into the current battlefield situation, strategies for the return of prisoners of war, and the implementation of effective security guarantees. The Ukrainian leader expressed gratitude for the unwavering support from the United States and its bipartisan backing.

Zelenskyy also conveyed Ukraine's readiness to sign a robust investment and security agreement with the United States, emphasizing their commitment to achieving tangible results swiftly. He stated, \"We have proposed the fastest and most constructive way to achieve results,\" highlighting the urgency and determination behind Ukraine's initiatives.

Kellogg arrived in Kyiv on Wednesday and held a series of meetings, including a session with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. Their talks focused on paving the way towards a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace in Ukraine. Foreign Minister Sybiha reaffirmed Ukraine's dedication to achieving peace through strength and outlined Kyiv's vision for the necessary steps forward.

Despite the productive conversations, a joint press conference between Zelenskyy and Kellogg was not held at the request of the U.S. side, according to Ukrainian presidential spokesperson Serhii Nikiforov.
