Three Israeli Hostages Freed by Hamas in Latest Ceasefire Deal

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, has successfully released three Israeli hostages in Gaza City on Saturday. This marks the fourth batch under the first phase of the ongoing prisoner exchange and ceasefire agreement.

Earlier today, Israeli-French citizen Ofer Calderon, 54, and Israeli civilian Yarden Bibas, 35, were transferred to the International Committee of the Red Cross. From there, Israeli forces facilitated their journey back to Israeli territory. The third hostage, 65-year-old Israeli-U.S. dual national Keith Siegel, was also part of this release.

Coordinated with international mediators, the safe transfer underscores the commitment to a temporary cessation of hostilities while implementing the negotiated agreement. Palestinian sources have indicated that further developments regarding the deal's implementation are anticipated in the coming days.
