Jeju Air Crash: Black Box Data Extraction Underway After Tragic Loss of 179 Lives

Investigators probing the tragic Jeju Air crash in South Korea, which claimed the lives of 179 people, have made significant progress in their investigation. According to an official statement on Wednesday, the initial data has been successfully extracted from the cockpit voice recorder of one of the Boeing 737-800 aircraft involved.

South Korea's Deputy Minister for Civil Aviation, Joo Jong-wan, confirmed that the initial extraction process for the cockpit voice recorder has been completed. Experts are now focused on extracting data from the second black box, the flight data recorder, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the incident.
