The second black box was found at the plane crash site near Aktau, Kazakhstan, according to Russian media reports citing a Kazakh official.
Law enforcement agencies from Russia and Azerbaijan are set to collaborate in the ongoing investigation of the tragic crash.
The incident involved an Azerbaijan Airlines Embraer 190 aircraft that was en route from Baku to Grozny. The plane crashed on Wednesday morning in the western region of Kazakhstan near the city of Aktau.
Tragically, all 62 passengers and five crew members were on board. Kazakhstan's emergencies ministry has reported that 29 individuals survived the crash, while the fate of the remaining passengers is still under investigation.
