South Korea's acting president, Han Duck-soo, engaged in a phone conversation with U.S. President Joe Biden on Sunday, reports Yonhap News Agency.
Han stepped into the role of acting president following the South Korean parliament's approval of a second impeachment motion against President Yoon Suk-yeol on Saturday. President Yoon is now awaiting a decision from the Constitutional Court regarding the impeachment proceedings.
