Six Turkish soldiers died Monday when two helicopters collided during a training exercise in the southwestern Isparta province, authorities said.
Provincial Governor Abdullah Erin told TRT Haber public television, \"Two helicopters collided during a training flight and one of them crashed.\"
Both Erin and the defense ministry initially reported five fatalities but later raised the toll to six after one of the wounded died in hospital.
The second helicopter managed to land safely, though authorities did not disclose the cause of the crash.
