Chancay Port Set to Revolutionize Peru’s Trade with Asia

Chinese President Xi Jinping and Peru's Dina Boluarte have inaugurated Chancay Port, South America’s largest and most modern port. Developed by the Chinese state-owned company Cosco Shipping, the port aims to enhance trade by significantly reducing shipping time between Peru and Asia.

In an interview, APEC Policy Support Unit chief Carlos Kuriyama discussed with CGTN's Mike Walter the transformative impact of Chancay Port on Peru's trade dynamics, highlighting the potential boost to the nation's economy and infrastructure development.
