US Expresses Grave Concern Over M23 Ceasefire Violations in DR Congo

The United States has voiced grave concern over recent ceasefire violations in the eastern regions of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

According to the State Department, M23 rebels have intensified their hostilities, undermining efforts to maintain peace in the region.

Department spokesperson Matthew Miller stated, \"M23 must immediately cease hostilities and withdraw from its positions in Walikale territory, North Kivu Province.\"

The ongoing conflict in North Kivu Province threatens stability in the DRC and poses challenges for international peacekeeping initiatives.
