The death toll from Spain's most devastating floods in decades has risen to 158 on Thursday, as emergency services and officials continue their tireless efforts to locate survivors.

Rescue operations in the eastern Valencia region have been particularly severe, with authorities confirming that 155 bodies have been recovered so far. In addition, officials from Castilla-La Mancha and Andalusia have reported a combined total of three fatalities in their respective regions.
