Train Collision in Egypt’s Minya Province Leaves Multiple Injured

A tragic train collision occurred on Sunday morning in Egypt's Minya province, located 270 kilometers south of Cairo, according to local media reports.

The accident involved a locomotive crashing into the tail of a Cairo-bound passenger train, causing two railway carriages to fall into an adjacent canal. The railway authority is currently investigating the incident.

The Health Ministry has confirmed that at least 20 people were taken to hospitals for treatment. Additionally, local media outlet Cairo 24 reported the recovery of one victim's body.

As of now, the cause of the collision remains unclear, with authorities working to determine the factors that led to this unfortunate event.
