Iran and Saudi Crown Prince Discuss Regional Stability and Bilateral Progress

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi and Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud convened in Riyadh on Wednesday to discuss the latest developments in the region and bolster bilateral ties. The meeting underscored the mutual commitment to ensuring regional stability and security.

Expressing deep concern over escalating tensions and conflicts in West Asia, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman emphasized the importance of safeguarding regional peace. He highlighted the positive and tangible progress made in implementing bilateral agreements over the past year, viewing it as a step forward for both nations.

Araghchi reiterated Iran's dedication to enhancing relations with neighboring countries to promote security, stability, and prosperity. He also called for a collective effort from all West Asian countries to halt Israel's military operations and prevent further infrastructure damage in Gaza and Lebanon.

The two leaders pledged to continue their cooperation and consultation on bilateral and regional matters. Earlier in the day, Araghchi met with Saudi Arabian counterpart Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud to further discuss the situations in Gaza and Lebanon, as well as to strengthen bilateral relations.
