Beijing, Tuesday — Peng Liyuan, UNESCO special envoy for the advancement of girls' and women's education and wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping, joined UN Under-Secretary-General and UN Women Executive Director Sima Bahous at an exhibition in Beijing, in the Chinese mainland, showcasing China's digital and intelligent empowerment solutions for women and girls.
The exhibition, a side event of the Global Leaders' Meeting on Women, put the spotlight on innovative programs that leverage digital tools to enhance skills, boost economic participation and foster inclusive growth. Through immersive displays and tutorials, attendees discovered how smart technologies are opening doors in education, entrepreneurship and public services.
