2025 Golden Panda Awards Forum: Culture Unites the World

Under the banner “Harmony in Diversity, A Future in Unity,” the second edition of the 2025 Golden Panda Awards forum opened this week in Chengdu, drawing more than 50 cultural thought leaders, artists and innovators from the Chinese mainland and over 20 countries and regions. Their mission? To spark global conversations that deepen cross-cultural exchange and creative collaboration.

Organizers report a record turnout of delegates representing film, digital art, music and interactive media. Sessions ranged from a data-driven keynote on how immersive technologies are redefining storytelling, to roundtables exploring sustainable cultural tourism and the role of youth voices in shaping inclusive narratives.

At a panel on global film co-productions, participants shared that international partnerships have grown by 30% over the past two years, fueled by online platforms and virtual festivals. Meanwhile, in a hands-on workshop, digital nomads and designers experimented with AI-powered tools to create art reflecting local traditions.

“Culture bridges divides,” said Liu Wei, director of the Awards forum. “By celebrating our differences and working together, we build a shared future richer than any one tradition.” Attendees left the forum energized, armed with fresh ideas to launch transnational art projects, tech-enabled cultural exchanges and sustainable travel experiences.

As the forum concludes, plans are already in motion for pop-up exhibitions across G20 cities, plus an open-access platform where young global citizens can pitch cultural initiatives and find collaborators worldwide. In an era of rapid change, the Golden Panda Awards forum once again proved that storytelling, innovation and mutual respect can unite us all.
