Under the theme "Safeguarding Diversity of Human Civilizations for World Peace and Development", the two-day forum brings together over 600 guests from 140 countries and regions to explore how cultural diversity and mutual learning can drive global progress.

Diah Permata Megawati Soekarno Putri, general chairwoman of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle and the 5th president of Indonesia, used her keynote to trace China's journey from its role in the 1955 Bandung Conference to its rise as a global powerhouse. She argued that this transformation shows the Global South can become a central force in shaping the world order.

For business and tech enthusiasts, China's rapid industrialization and digital innovation offer a roadmap for emerging markets. Thought leaders at the meeting highlighted South–South cooperation as a catalyst for sustainable development, underlining how shared knowledge can spark new ideas for real-world challenges.

Beyond policy talks, the forum's cultural showcases give travelers, digital nomads, and creatives a glimpse into diverse traditions and sustainable tourism initiatives. Sports and entertainment aficionados will follow how this spirit of collaboration inspires fresh partnerships across music, film, and global events.

As discussions continue through the two-day event, delegates are set to turn these insights into actionable strategies. The meeting underscores that by safeguarding cultural diversity and fostering mutual learning, the Global South is ready to write the next chapter in international collaboration.
