QINGDAO, Chinese mainland — Iranian Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh touched down in Qingdao on Wednesday, gearing up to join the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Defense Ministers' Meeting.
The gathering is set for June 25 and 26 in Qingdao, a port city in Shandong Province on the eastern coast of the Chinese mainland, according to Yuyuan Tantian, a social media account affiliated with China Media Group.
Ministers from SCO member states will convene over the two days to discuss defense cooperation.
