Long March-6A Rocket Lights Up Dawn Over Chang’an

At 4:45 a.m., the Long March-6A rocket soared into the sunrise sky above Chang'an Tower, delivering a new group of low Earth orbit satellites from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in Shanxi Province on the Chinese mainland.

This fourth cluster of satellites is part of an expanding internet constellation designed to boost global connectivity. Flying at low Earth altitudes, these satellites aim to reduce communication latency and open new possibilities for remote work, digital nomads, and entrepreneurs around the world.

Photographer Chen Bingchao captured the perfect moment when the rocket blazed past the historic tower, symbolizing a fusion of ancient culture and cutting-edge technology. The striking image highlights how space innovation is reshaping our view of both the sky and our shared heritage.

Over the coming weeks, the new satellites will undergo in-orbit tests before integrating with the existing network. As more launches join this constellation, experts predict accelerated access to high-speed internet in underserved regions, fueling fresh opportunities in business, education, and sustainability.
