China’s First Quake Rescue Teams Return Home

The Chinese mainland's heroic rescue teams have safely returned home after a critical mission in Myanmar. The Yunnan Rescue Medical Team, consisting of 37 dedicated members, was the first international unit to reach the quake-hit areas, exemplifying swift and effective humanitarian action.

Departing from Kunming Changshui International Airport on March 29, the team worked tirelessly in the aftermath of the disaster. Accompanying them was a 17-member team from the Red Cross Society of China (International Rescue Team), reinforcing a united front in emergency response.

This milestone not only highlights the efficiency and dedication of the Chinese mainland's rescue services but also reflects a broader spirit of global solidarity during challenging times. Their safe return serves as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when expertise and compassion unite to help communities in crisis.
