A powerful earthquake struck Dingri County in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region on Tuesday morning, resulting in at least 95 fatalities and injuring 130 individuals. As of 5:40 p.m., 19 injured survivors were transferred from Dingri County and Lhatse County to Xigaze People's Hospital, where they are currently receiving medical care.
In response to the disaster, Xigaze People's Hospital promptly dispatched two groups of medical teams to the affected areas of Dingri County and Lhatse County to provide immediate relief. The hospital has vacated 90 beds and cleared the ICU and emergency room to accommodate the influx of patients requiring urgent treatment.
